What is the cost?
Early Bird Registration through June 30

Proceeds from the race benefit the Eureka-Pacific Elks Lodge Weekend Backpack Food Program and Food Pantries serving the hungry in surrounding areas.
What do I get when I register?
Register by 10:00 pm on October 20th and receive guaranteed size long-sleeve t-shirt and a headlamp.
Register on October 22nd and receive long-sleeve t-shirt (size not guaranteed) and a headlamp.
Register the Day of the Race and receive a headlamp while supplies last. T-shirt not guaranteed.

When & where do I pick-up my race packet?
Packets can be picked up at:

Saturday, October 23rd | Beginning at 5:00pm
What time does the race start?
Check-in begins at 5:00 PM.
Check-in for the race is located in Route 66 State Park by the main parking area, next to the playground. All cars need to park in Route 66 State Park or on the outer road leading up to the park.
Participants for the Mini Moonie Dash and the Moonie Mile Kids Fun Run should be in the start area by 6:15 PM.
All runners and walkers participating in the 5K Run & Walk should be in the start area by 6:40 PM.
Will there be anything to do after the race?
After the race, Harvest Moon Medals will be awarded to the 1st Place finishers in each age class. Awards will also be given to the overall female and male times.
Plus, enjoy BBQ provided by The Eureka-Pacific Elks Lodge! Proceeds benefit the Elks Weekend Backpack Food Program!
Can I bring canned and boxed food to donate?
Yes! It is our goal to Fill a Ford With Food! Bring canned and boxed foods the night of the race. If you can guess the closest number that will fill the Ford, sponsored by Midwest Motors, you win a free Harvest Moon Run registration for next year! (No glass products, please!) Our local Girl Scout troop then delivers it to the Eureka Food Pantry on our behalf!
How much money did you raise for the hungry last year?
In 2020, we donated $7000 to the Eureka Food Pantry and the Eureka-Pacific Elks Lodge Weekend Backpack Food Program!
Our donation to the Elks Backpack Food Program provides food for school aged children on the weekends and we subsidize the Eureka Food Pantry during their meager months when they are in desperate need of restocking their shelves.
Your generosity and our partnership with these 100% volunteer organizations, provide so many families and the elderly food throughout the year.
Directions to Route 66 State Park From I-44.
Travel South on Hwy 109.
Turn left on Augustine Road. Turn left at the T to continue on Augustine Road.
Turn left on Williams road (immediately following a beautiful horse farm).
The entrance to Route 66 State Park is on the right, before the on-ramp to I-44 East. Follow this road (it travels parallel to I-44) under the interstate and parking volunteers will direct you from there.
