Register by October 8th online by 8:00 PM and receive a guaranteed size long-sleeve t-shirt and an Energizer headlight.
Register October 10th from 2:00pm-6:30pm in person at The Timbers and receive a long-sleeve t-shirt (size not guaranteed) and an Energizer headlight while supplies last.
Register the Day of the Race October 11th starting at 5:00pm at Route 66 State Park and receive an Energizer headlight while supplies last. T-shirt not guaranteed.

Packet Pickup & Race Day Registration begins at 5:00 PM.
Go to the Registration/Event Area in Route 66 State Park located in the second parking lot on the right. Please Note: If you pick up your race packet the day before the race, you do not need to check-in.
All cars need to park in Route 66 State Park. Parking attendants will guide you to your parking space. Limited handicapped parking is available. Please carpool if possible.
6:25 PM: All registered runners for the Mini Moonie Dash, Moonie 1/2 Mile, and the Moonie Mile Kids Fun Run should be in the start area with their bib attached to the FRONT of their shirt.
6:50 PM: All registered runners and walkers participating in the 5K Run & Walk should be in the start area with their bib attached on the FRONT. Runners line up in front of the walkers.
FREDBIRD arrives at 6:15 PM for zany entertainment and photos with you!
Eureka Music Center will power up an energized playlist all night long!
Before, during & after the race:
Enjoy the Eureka-Pacific Elks Lodge $6 Grill Deal which includes a hamburger or hot dog, chips & soda or water. Proceeds benefit the Elks Weekend Backpack Food Program!
After the race, Harvest Moon 5K medals will be awarded to the 1st Place finishers in each age class. Awards will also be given to the overall female and male times. Photos will be posted on our website and social media.
Race Time clocks will be placed adjacent to the start/finish line and will display your unofficial Gun Time. Your actual time is automatically recorded with the chip on your bib as you cross the line. Bibs must be pinned on the FRONT to capture the time!
You can see your results moments after you cross the finish line by using the Start 2 Finish Event Management QR code which is on your bib. QR codes will also be posted at the Music Station next to the finish line and the photo op tent. You can also view them online at harvestmoonrun.org/results
Harvest Moon Run 5k medals will be awarded to the overall female and male times and to the top finishers in each age class as soon as the group results are confirmed. Click here to see the official age groups. Food and fun will await you at the completion of the race. We encourage you to stay and cheer your fellow Moonies as they cross the finish line!
A custom Harvest Moon Run medal is given to the Overall male and female winners and 1st Place medalists in the age brackets below:

Yes! The Fill a Ford Food Truck will be parked at the entrance of the registration area to conveniently drop off your donation. The Harvest Moon Run and Midwest Motors are driving out hunger by proudly promoting: Fill a Ford with Food! CAN you guess how much food will fill the Ford?
Add to the total by bringing canned/boxed food items (no glass please)...then guess how much will fill the Ford...the closest guess receives a FREE Harvest Moon 5k Run registration for next year!
You can also bring food to donate at The Timbers during Packet Pick-Up from 2:00pm-6:30 PM on Friday, October 10th

Our donation to the Elks Backpack Food Program provides food for school-aged children on the weekends and we help fill the food pantries shelves during the year. The night of our event, the Elk's Grill Deal proceeds are also a donation to their Backpack Food Program!
Your generosity and our partnership with these organizations provide many families including veterans and the elderly with food throughout the year.
Directions to Route 66 State Park From I-44.
Travel South on Hwy 109.
Turn left on Augustine Road. Turn left at the T to continue on Augustine Road.
Turn left on Williams road (immediately following a beautiful horse farm).
The entrance to Route 66 State Park is on the right, before the on-ramp to I-44 East. Follow this road (it travels parallel to I-44) under the interstate and parking volunteers will direct you from there.
All cars will park in Route 66 State Park. Parking attendants will direct you to your parking space. There are 3 main parking lots; the Forest Shelter, the Dogwood Shelter, and the parking lot next to the turn-around. Overflow will be directed to park on the side of the paved street leading to the registration area or a designated grass area. Limited handicapped parking is available. Please allow enough time to check-in and park before the race.
Unfortunately dogs are not allowed prior, during or after the event.
